Also, you will need to make sure that the plot of land is close enough to a power source and close enough to a water source. In fact, you will want to check into your local laws and find out if there are any laws that prohibit you from building your tiny house on a piece of land.
This is very important because it can be very expensive and time-consuming if you end up having problems with your tiny house being in violation of zoning laws.
In Connecticut, you will need to have your tiny house approved by the local zoning board before you can start building your tiny house. You will also need to make sure that you have the proper permits for your tiny house before you start building it.
We also recommend building your tiny house on land that has a septic system. This is very important because a septic system will allow you to use your tiny house for a long time without having to worry about your water supply being polluted.
